I’ve been in love with Kindness Elves since 2013 … ever since I first heard of them from Anna at The Imagination Tree. I’ve been curating ideas for using Kindness Elves from that first year on. I’m putting my Kindness Elves posts together here so you can easily find all the ideas and resources. I’ll continue to add new Kindness Elves posts to this one as I publish them.

How to Have a Kind Classroom with Kindness Elves {for Teachers and Parents}
There’s a brand new eBook “teaching materials kit for teachers to use alongside their Kindness Elves in the classroom.” I also like it for homeschools and for parents who want to support their child’s teacher in encouraging a kind classroom at school. Kind Classroom is only £5.99.
How to Make the Switch to Kindness Elves if You’re Using Elf on the Shelf
There are kind and gentle ways to make the switch to Kindness Elves from Elf on the Shelf.
Ideas to Use with Your Kindness Elves
There are LOTS of great resources and free printables for Kindness Elves. You can find links to them in the posts below.
This post was from the first year of Kindness Elves. You can find a roundup of ideas in my post “Using Variations of Elf on the Shelf to Encourage Kindness.”
In my post on “Using Kindness Elves to Encourage Kindness {Ideas and Free Printables},” I added more resources and free printables.
In my “New Kindness Elf Ideas for Building Character This Christmas,” I added new ideas from the 2015 Christmas season.
“Sweet and Simple Kindness Elf Activities for Toddlers” tells what my granddaughter and I did with the Kindness Elves in 2015. Although my granddaughter was a toddler, many of these activities would be great for older kids, too.
“The Kindness Elves Meet Pete the Cat … and Go on a Great Adventure” tells about one of our favorite activities with the Kindness Elves (along with one of our favorite children’s book characters)! You might want to do this or a variation of it. It would work with a variety of ages.
You’ll find more ideas to use with your Kindness Elves in my post with “20+ Acts of Kindness Advent Calendars and Christmas Countdowns {Free Printables}.”
You’ll find out how we used Kindness Elves to encourage acts of kindness in the family in 2016.
In this post, you’ll read about our 2016 adventure with Kindness Elves and Pete the Cat.
We had another rewarding experience with a food and toy drive in 2017. I used the food and toy drive to teach about hunger and poverty.
We started our holiday season in 2018 with a simple visit by the Kindness Elves on Giving Tuesday. This would work at any time of year, though.
We continued with our annual food and toy drive in 2018. The Kindness Elves, Pete the Cat, a baby, and a toddler joined our food and toy drive.
The Kindness Elves and Pete the Cat joined our 5th annual food and toy drive in 2019.
The Kindness Elves and Pete the Cat joined us for our online and curbside family food and toy drive in 2020.
