I love the concept of simplicity … don’t always follow it, though. A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about 30-day challenges, which are great. I think simplifying in the form of decluttering needs to be a 30-day challenge.
This post inspired me to focus on simplicity right now: 42 Ways to Make Life Simpler from the Positivity Blog.
Even though decluttering will be my next month’s challenge toward a simpler life, I especially find this idea from the Positivity Blog post thought-provoking:
Ask yourself simplifying questions every day. Questions like “What is the most important thing I can do right now?”.
Summer is my favorite time of year, and I’m trying to fully appreciate it. Simplifying will help me do that.

it’s not easy being simple … one has to remember – otherwise can forget 🙂
Thanks for this lovely positive post dear
Thanks for your kind comment, Michael! I have to keep reminding myself to simplify! 🙂
I am trying to do things more efficiently.
But simplifying ? hmm i don’t know. I always want to do many things in the same time, maybe to many.
Simplifying could mean “having clear goals”…in fact it could mean many things.
If it means to have planned days, in order to achieve our goal without distractions then i simplified my life quite well.
Thanks so much for your comment, Luke! I always want to do too many things at once, too! It’s definitely better than being lost and bored. I’m impressed if you have planned days. I’m still working on that – but I definitely must apply some decluttering and feng shui to my house first. 🙂
Great post! I simplified the house yesterday! So much nicer! 😀
Thanks, Kirsty! I’m impressed if you were able to do a lot in a day … I’ve got a lot to do to get my house simplified. But I’m starting today! 🙂
Thanks for these thoughts and motivators to live life more simply. I like the idea of asking “what is the most important thing I can do right now?”

Thanks so much for your kind comment, Gail! I always need to keep reminding myself of that question! 🙂
