The core Olympic values of excellence, friendship, and respect are essential values. But they’re not complete without the Paralympic values of determination, courage, equality, and inspiration.
Character education is very important to me and was a major emphasis in our homeschool and my now-adult children’s sports careers. Some of the most important results of sports at any level are the valuable life lessons and positive character traits that can be gained.
I’ve been publishing posts about the Olympics and Paralympics for a number of years now.
