We all have frustrations … and there are unique frustrations in today’s society. Online haters are difficult for anyone to deal with. I’m lucky that I haven’t had a lot of experience with haters, but I still feel sad and frustrated whenever I see anyone affected by haters and online bullies.

I like Taylor Swift’s approach in “Shake It Off.” Rather than being self-critical, she focuses on just shaking it off.

Frustrated by the Haters or anything ... Shake It Off“Shake It Off” Dance Workout

Thanks to my daughter, Christina, I have a new favorite way to deal with frustrations. Christina has a dance workout on YouTube to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.” I think it’s a great way to feel better about yourself regardless of what someone else says. It’s also a great way to shake off the simple frustrations of the day (and get a good workout at the same time).

You might want to imagine punching out your frustrations while doing the workout. I know I feel better anytime I do the workout … both from the feel-good benefits of working out along with the feel-good rhythm and message of the song.

(Note: This isn’t a substitute for therapy. If you have symptoms of depression, be sure to seek help from a mental health professional.)
