11 Disturbing Facts about Body ImageI’ve written a number of posts about body image. I think it’s too important of an issue to ignore.

Whether we’re parents, grandparents, uncles or aunts, teachers, coaches, or friends, we need to be aware of the body-image messages we’re giving children … or people of any age.

Here’s a post with lots of body-image resources for females: Helping Mothers and Daughters Have Healthy Body Images. You’ll find a link there to a post about males and body image, too. Here’s the link: Helping Males Have Healthy Body Images.

Today, I want to share a video with 11 disturbing facts about body image. I appreciate that the video includes both females and males.

I totally agree with the message at the end: “It’s time for a change. Everybody is different and beautiful.”

I have lots of quotes and word-art inspiration at the Bits of Positivity Facebook page and on Pinterest!
