“Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever.” Author Unknown

"Guiding Hand on My Shoulder" Word Art Freebie

In loving memory of my dad, Glenn Arneson (January 23, 1931 – January 10, 2025).

Part of my heart will always be missing. My dad was almost 94 years old and lived a full, happy life, but it’s still hard to know he’s gone. Even though I live in California and he lived in South Dakota, it was comforting just knowing he was there.

My dad was …

 🤍  friendly
 🤍  kind

 🤍 helpful
 🤍  loving
 🤍 optimistic
 🤍 hardworking
 🤍 accepting
 🤍  generous
 🤍  fun
 🤍 happy
 🤍 a wonderful role model

My dad had polio at age two but didn’t let that stop him. Even with a leg brace and shorter leg, he wasn’t afraid to climb places others feared. He built his own business and helped his family feel safe and cared for.

My dad passed an appreciation of hard work and a can-do attitude on down through the generations. He was loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grand children, and great-great grandchildren. He was my hero!

I love you, Dad!
