In honor of International Day of Peace on Friday, September 21, a Montessori quote I love:
“The child is endowed with unknown powers, which can guide us to a radiant future. If what we really want is a new world, then education must take as its aim the development of these hidden possibilities.” – Maria Montessori, The Absorbent Mind
I created two word art freebies based on that quote. For printing, feel free to download the word art freebie without watermark. If you’d like to share the image online, please use the image with the watermark. Of course, I always appreciate when you link to my post and Facebook page, too.

I found you in a link up yesterday but got so into watching the video and then related ones that I forgot to leave you a comment. Found you again today and figured I better comment this time 🙂
Do your kids figure skate? I’m guessing so from the title of your blog.
Thanks so much, Kendra! My kids were both international competitive skaters – my son in pairs and my daughter in ice dance. My About Page tells more about them: https://bitsofpositivity.com/about/. Now my son is a skating coach and DJ. My daughter is a skating coach, personal trainer, Zumba instructor, and Pilates instructor.
Now I talk more about inspiration/motivation and raising kids of good character (things that were important in my kids’ lives and competitive careers even though they aren’t directly related to skating). 🙂
I would love to share this on facebook. Do you mind if I upload the photo to my page and put a link back to you in the captions? Thanks so much for sharing these!
Nevermind, I just found it on your facebook page and shared it from there. Thank you again!
