Peace has been a wish of so many for so long. Yet where can we start but ourselves and our children/students?
I love the 1955 song “Let There Be Peace on Earth” by Jill Jackson and Sy Miller.
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me;
Let there be peace on earth,
The peace that was meant to be.
“Let There Be Peace on Earth” Word Art Freebie
I created a word art freebie based on the words “Let there be peace on earth… and let it begin with me.” Although the quote is appropriate for both children and adults, I chose the image based on this quote by Maria Montessori: “Establishing lasting peace is the work of education; all politics can do is keep us out of war.” As parents, caregivers, or teachers, it’s our job to help children experience and share peace.
For printing, feel free to download the word art freebie without watermark. If you’d like to share the image online, please use the image with the watermark. Of course, I always appreciate when you link to my post and Facebook page, too.
To download word art without watermark, click here, then right click on the image and choose “Save Picture As . . .”
