You’ll often hear Nancy Kopman’s music playing at my house. That’s because she’s my grandchildren’s favorite performer. But my husband and I enjoy hearing Nancy’s music, too. She has a lovely folk-like quality to her music. It’s both relaxing and uplifting.

I was very sad to hear that Nancy’s family went through two major losses in one year. But Nancy processed her loss in the best way possible. She wrote a special song and then shared it with us. Her song is called “You’re With Me” and is appropriate for both children and adults.

“You’re With Me” – a Beautiful New Song to Help Both Children and Adults Cope with Loss

“You’re With Me” is a wonderful song to listen to, meditate to, or sing along with. I love that works for any loss or any age.

Here are the lyrics:

You can hear a sample of the song and buy it on Amazon. You can also hear the song first here.

Nancy says: “’You’re With Me’  is a song about remembering and staying close to a relationship. The lyrics focus on the situations and experiences that remind us of someone who has passed away, and how those reminders play an important part in maintaining the connections we built with them.” You can read more about the song  in Nancy’s post on “‘You’re With Me'” – A Song for Coping with Loss.”

Nancy is donating all proceeds to a grief counseling center.
